Necessary equipment
4 Poles
1 Hoop (1m in diameter)
Goal(s) :
Work on cue precision, shift weight onto the hindquarters, improve boldness, and manage distance on the lunge line.
Process :
Start by standing in the hoop and make the horse back up between the poles. Once it is behind the poles, send it out on a circle (first at a walk, then trot, and canter). Then, have it go over the ground poles (or raised poles for more intense muscle work). After a full circle, stop it with the front legs between the poles, then move its hindquarters. Repeat on the other rein.
Difficulties :
Require a lot of precision, know how to manage the feet for backing up, moving the hindquarters, etc.

j'ai proposé l'exercice à mon 4ans et c'est vraiment une réussite. Parfait pour une séance qui travaille le mental aussi bien que la mobilisation, et poser les base de la liberté!
