Necessary equipment
3 Poles
4 Cavalettis
Goal(s) :
Make the horse move forward, stop, and back up in an elevated pole corridor without the rider moving.
Process :
The rider stops at the entrance of the pole corridor, the horse enters and goes to the end of the pole corridor, then the rider stops the horse at the end of the corridor for a few seconds. Then, while staying at the entrance of the pole corridor, the rider makes the horse back up straight to exit without touching the poles.
Difficulties :
The narrower the pole corridor, the more straightness is required. For easier handling, the rider can stay at the level of the horse's shoulder.
