Pace Control

 Goal(s) :

Ask for a trot departure from the shoulder and maintain the pace.

 Process :

The rider and horse start stationary in the starting zone. The horse must pick up the trot before the next markers and reach the finish zone without breaking pace. Contract 10 points: on a lunge line. Contract 15 points: on a lunge line attached to the halter with an elastic. Contract 20 points: at liberty.

 Difficulties :

The horse must remain at the trot, without overtaking or pushing the rider despite the curve.
