Canter/Trot Transitions on the Circle

Goal(s) :
Work on the precision and responsiveness of your horse. At the same time, this exercise improves the horse's musculature.
Process :
Position yourself on a 20m circle at a working trot. Transition to canter for 10 strides. Transition back to trot for 5 strides. Transition to canter for 9 strides. Transition back to trot for 5 strides. Transition to canter for 8 strides…etc.
Difficulties :
You can use cones to mark the transitions to help you better visualize, and thus gain precision.
