Goal(s)
Engage the horse's hindquarters, back, and core muscles.
Process
The principle is very simple: it can be performed at the walk, trot, or canter for those more comfortable. Simply cross the ground pole at the desired gait, then place the haunches in on the first half of the circle and out on the second half. (In red, haunches-in, and in black, haunches-out, or vice versa).
Difficulties
Moving the haunches in and out, maintaining control.
