The Target

 Goal(s) :

Teach your horse to touch an object

 Process :

an object (an empty bottle, a pool noodle on the end of a stick, a scarf/flag...) in one hand
a clicker (can be replaced by a "click" or "good" or "yeeees" or any other sound used just for this purpose)
treats appreciated by your horse

Present the object to your horse, once he touches it, remove it, make the sound (marker) and give the reward. With repetition, the horse will touch this object. Once this is achieved, it will be easy to say "touch" before he touches it and generalize it to anything you want so that your horse touches any object with his nose.
