Goal(s) :
To have a calm horse that is utilized without rushing
Process :
Enter at a working trot and 4 ground poles, then without rushing, transition to canter (the entry at a working trot is optional, you can also just use ground poles at the canter). Next, ground poles at the canter, ensuring the horse is relaxed and attentive to the rider to pass the ground poles at the canter with a horse that is utilized. Then two cross rails, one stride between them. Set a small distance so the horse has a small stride but pushes from its hindquarters in the gait and in both take-offs. Finally, to finish, ground poles behind the second cross rail (this is optional).
Difficulties :
To have a straight, calm horse that does not rush and is utilized in the gaits while maintaining a correct posture for the rider.
