To be able to change gait at a specific point and improve responsiveness
This session can be conducted in an arena or even outdoors. Use natural markers (tree, fence, etc.) to visualize the transition points. Approach at a walk, ask for a halt at marker no.1. Request a trot departure. At the next marker, transition to a walk, then halt at the following marker. Resume trotting.
Work gradually to gain finesse and precision. Initially, you will need to prepare your transition several meters before the marker. Try to reduce this distance little by little.
Exercice très simple mais qui est une base du dressage. A pratiquer partout 👌🏻
