Improve lateral and longitudinal balance in corner transitions.
After each corner, ask your horse to halt. Then move off again. The departure should be energetic. To execute this exercise well, prepare for the approach to the corner (ensure your horse is balanced, with a regular rhythm). This exercise can be performed at the walk, then at the trot to increase difficulty.
