Goal(s)

Improve the path and keep a horse round and attentive while jumping.

Process

Intermediate version between the twins and the infinity.
Same path as the twins but with the addition of 2 small jumps at the ends of each circle, aligned with the middle jump. This helps to maintain the horse's rhythm while keeping a well-drawn circle. The bending over the jump is thus varied (same bending on the circle, change of bending between circles).

Difficulties

Pay attention to the precision of the path and maintain the same rhythm on the circles.

Goal: This exercise helps improve the quality of the lines to the fences, the horse’s balance in the turns, and the rider’s accuracy. It also helps to develop a more regular canter rhythm and better anticipation of the turns. The cloverleaf is an excellent exercise to prepare for show jumping courses with numerous changes of direction.
