Goal(s)

For horses that rush towards obstacles, ensure they self-regulate and think independently. Check the rider's communication skills.

Process

On a line of 21m, 17m, or 13m between each obstacle.
In the case of right rein:
Trot over the first pole, make a circle passing over the pole again,
Walk over the slightly raised poles, make a circle, and walk over again.
Trot over the next pole and make another circle.
This can be done in both directions.
For more difficulty, you can canter over the verticals and trot for the oxer, but always make a circle each time.
On the line to return to the exercise, go back at a trot with a lengthened neck.

Difficulties

Horse relaxation, circle straightness, rider's focus, the horse must stay concentrated and lift its feet
