Back your horse up from a distance while standing in front of him until his forequarters are on the first line of cones.
Send him off at a trot to go onto the circle.

Start at a trot then transition to a walk in the third zone, followed by a slalom (walk or trot).
Then, perform lateral movements (with or without a pole) and start at a trot to go stop in the start/finish zone.

Groundwork | Easy
Move your equine freely.
Groundwork | Easy
Not every horse is born understanding ridden work, so it’s important to teach him how to step over a ground pole without stress and with attention. The goal of this exercise is to help your horse release tension and learn to cross each pole calmly and mindfully.
Groundwork | Medium
Cue and refine lateral movements until your horse can perform them over a ground pole, to improve precision, hoof control, and desensitisation.
Groundwork | Easy
In this exercise, we will teach the horse to jump calmly, so that when you later ask him under saddle, he already has a confident foundation.
