Maintain the bend/shoulders or hips of the horse
Exercise adaptable according to the level of the rider and horse by only doing the tip of the nose to the inside (or outside) / Shoulder-In / Hip-In. The exercise can be done at walk, trot, and canter (with transition for the latter). Example: prepare your turn with the shoulders in to enter the arena at H with the shoulders already on the second inner track. Continue to S to straighten the horse on the diagonal. Change the aids to return to the track at P with the shoulders in until the beginning of the short side to realign the horse.
Maintain good contact with the horse. Have the bend on the correct side.
