Cross Control

Control the pace on a complex course.
First, approach the line of cross rails at a right canter on the quarter line, making 4 strides between the first two cross rails. Between the 2nd and 3rd, turn right on a circle going over the ground poles, then return to the start of the circle, align, and proceed to the third cross rail. Next, continue on the track to turn on the diagonal to go over the cross rail and then the middle one. Continuing in a straight line, finish on the last cross rail. Then, continue on the track and turn on the diagonal to go over the cross rail. Always controlling the pace, go over the middle cross rail, then after that, turn to the other cross rail on the diagonal.
Maintain a steady canter on a technical cross rail course while considering bend and rhythm to make 4 strides between the line of cross rails. Rein control and potential difficulties depending on the horse.
